Shetler Moving & Storage, Inc. has been moving families in the Evansville tri-state area since 1899. B.J. Shetler began his moving company with two teams of horses and wagons. B.J. purchased his first truck in 1916. In 1946, B.J.’s son Joe along with 29 other movers founded Atlas Van Lines. Atlas Van Lines is now the second largest relocation company in the nation with over 600 agents worldwide. Shetler Moving & Storage, Inc. is now owned and operated by Joe’s sons, Tom and Bob. It was expanded into the Cincinnati Metro area in 1984. Shetler Moving & Storage continues to grow under the direction of Tom, Bob and their children.
